Makayla Kleiber

Makayla Kleiber is 22 years old and is from Black Creek, Wisconsin. She graduated from Shiocton High School in 2016. Makayla currently works as a Licensed Practical Nurse and is dedicated to giving high quality care to all of her patients. She is in the works of finishing up her last semester of Nursing School at Fox Valley Technical College and will graduate in May 2020 with her Associates Degree in Nursing. Her future plans are to continue onto school to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree as well as to gain experience and knowledge working as a Registered Nurse.  Makayla has a passion for people, rodeo, and the western way of life. Her love for rodeo began when she was a little girl. She grew up attending the Mid Western the Rodeo in Manawa every Summer. In 2015, she was crowned the 2016 Mid Western Rodeo Queen. Makayla enjoys teaching horse lessons and educating her students not only on riding, but how to properly care for their horse. In her free time, she also loves barrel racing, being with family, and spending time with her two corgis, Nugget and Tator!  Throughout her year as Miss Rodeo Wisconsin, Makayla will travel throughout the state as well as the country as Wisconsin’s official representative for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. She will make appearances at rodeos, schools, libraries, hospitals, and other community events. Makayla’s goal for her year is to attend more events and programs that are not rodeo related. She believes that promoting rodeo in a non-rodeo setting is a great way to capture interest of potential rodeo fans as well as enhance the sport of rodeo. Makayla is extremely excited and grateful for this opportunity to represent her home state as Miss Rodeo Wisconsin and promote the PRCA on all of her travels.
